• भारतीय नौसेना का पहला नया स्टील्थ फ्रिगेट युद्ध जहाज – आईएनएस ‘नीलगिरी’ (प्रोजेक्ट17A का पहला जहाज)  ( INS ‘Nilgiri’ (first ship of Project17A).)

अर्थव्यवस्था

• 28 September को भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने उसके खिलाफ त्वरित सुधारात्मक कार्रवाई (PCA) व्यवस्था के तहत निजी क्षेत्र के इस बैंक पर पाबंदियां लगायी – लक्ष्मी विलास बैंक (Lakshmi Vilas Bank (LVB).)

• “ले बुलडोजर”(“Le Bulldozer”) के नाम से जाने वाले इस पूर्व फ्रांसीसी राष्ट्रपती की 26 September को मृत्यु हो गई – जैक्यूज चिराक (Jacques Chirac)
• कार्बन क्रेडिट की वैश्विक कीमत के लिए पहला बेंचमार्क बने ‘ग्लोबल कार्बन इंडेक्स’ तयार करने वाली संस्था – आईएचएस मार्किट, लंदन (IHS Markit, London.)

• भारतीय प्रतिस्पर्धा आयोग (CCI) ने सऊदी अरब की इस तेल कंपनी द्वारा सऊदी बेसिक इंडस्ट्रीज कार्पोरेशन (SABIC) में 70 प्रतिशत हिस्सेदारी के अधिग्रहण को मंजूरी दे दी – सऊदी अरामको(Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabian Oil Company.)

• A two-term French president, nicknamed “Le Bulldozer”, who was the first leader to acknowledge France’s role in the Holocaust, died on 26 September – Jacques Chirac.
